How it works
A seal around the ear
Earmuffs work by sealing the whole outer ear against the head. The cushion does the work, which is why the fit around the edge matters more than how tightly the band is set.

Wipe the cushions with a damp cloth. Check the seal every so often on longer wears — a cup that has slipped off the ear does nothing at all.

30hrs of international flights an absolute GAME CHANGER with these! I had bought them to wear at busy pubs and noisy events, but our light sleeper 7mo was struggling with the bassinet seat on the plane being so close to the bathrooms - that the toilet lock would wake him every time someone closed the door. Ear muffs on and he just slept straight through it all. Even managed to stay sleeping as we disembarked and transferred to the next flight. I see why they’re called ‘cocoon’… he was in his own little bubble and didn’t mind wearing them through sleep, breastfeeding and in the carrier.
Our little guy has always had sensory issues, and recently the construction by his daycare got to be too loud. He was holding his hands over his ears during outside time. I was really skeptical that he would tolerate headphones because he has never tolerated hats or sunglasses, so something else in his head or face seemed like a no go. These arrived, and in an effort to prepare him for daycare I had him try them out the night before. When I tell you this kid LOVED them…his first reaction was “it’s so quiet in here!” And then he promptly refused to take them off for the evening. The next day at daycare he didn’t even cry or hesitate when we dropped him off, just walked right through the noise and crying of his peers to go look out the window. They told us at the end of the day he wanted to wear them for his nap and he ended up getting really good sleep! He never sleeps well at daycare, so this was incredible. Overall, he’s super happy with them and they give him moments of sensory regulation when he starts to get a bit overstimulated. We love them!
I think that the ear muffs are very comfortable and do a great job protecting my baby's ears during loud events. She really likes the color of them and gets excited to wear them. At one point during the last few days, she saw them sitting out and asked to wear them, then she asked to take pictures of herself wearing them. They didn't seem to bug her at all while she was wearing them. I think that after a while she doesn't like to wear them because she would rather hear what's going on. But I feel confident that they would protect her ears at a loud event.
I love that these ear muffs are adjustable and have a back strap! They allow me to adjust the fit so my child has the perfect fit each time! The back strap keeps them on my child’s head even when they are running around! The easy adjustable straps make it so that I could have two ear muffs and put them on my toddler or baby! This is a game changer for busy moms! I also love how beautiful they are! As well as how compact they are. I can toss them in my bag and go!
Based on my experience, I would give the product a four out of five stars. I can definitely see the value of it and think that my son‘s age is playing into the fact that they won’t stay on. He’s naturally very curious and all over the place, so keeping them on his head was definitely a struggle. My three-year-old tried them on and thought that they were comfortable so that was a plus as well. Overall, I think this is a very solid product.
These were the best ear muffs I’ve experienced in the 6 years I’ve been a mother. Not only did they protect my son’s ears during the fireworks last night but he actually enjoyed keeping them on and when he took them off for a moment he asked for them back. They were soft comfortable and the fit was perfect. There was no sliding off his head or moving around and constantly adjusting, they just stayed in the spot they needed to be.
After trying a few different ear muffs, the Loop cocoon ear muffs for more securely on my child’s head than other noise reduction headphones. These were the first that we tried that seemed to significantly reduce the volume as he talked much louder with these than others. They were very comfortable and I feel we could use them for sleeping or long trips as well because of how soft the fabric is around the ears. Highly recommend!
They are a premium product, packaging is very premium akin to older iPhone unboxing when they used to have chargers in the box. The product itself doesn’t let you down, easy to adjust, stays on the kids head even when playing and running around. Good instructions for adjusting them on your kids head, kid loved them and did not want to take them off, made events more enjoyable as the kid could stand the noise without complaining.
I enjoyed these loop baby earmuffs over the last few days. They were easy to get on my daughter’s head and easy to adjust. I feel like for some kids. They are a little bulky, but all earmuffs are and I feel like kids with slightly bigger heads, they slip off a little more. overall, I was impressed with these and they are very comfortable and they don’t seem irritating to my daughter.

The only problem I’ve experienced is that it’s pretty easy for my 2-year-old to pull them off, but he’s usually happy to let me put them back on him.

However, they might be better suited to children either much younger or slightly older than mine (at 18 months). They fit his head well and look quality, it's just a matter of getting him to want to keep them on his head.
I cannot recommend the Loop Cocoon baby ear muffs enough! I’ve tried two other brands and they are either too tight, sit too low on my baby’s forehead or are way too hard to adjust. I believe that the loop cocoon baby ear muffs are an amazing product, specially when worn at an earlier age to get used to it. My son hated it and doesn't like it at all. I do see the value of it. But he is just not liking it. So my honest opinion, it is worth it, but it will take some time to develop.
Overall I was very happy with these. The adjustable straps made them fit securely to my child's head and gave me the peace of mind that they were on correctly. My daughter would request them when we were in situations where there would be a lot of noise, and she always seemed happy when she had them on.
I think these earmuffs are very stylish and feel more secure than standard earmuffs. I also felt the earmuff piece itself felt much softer than standard. However, my toddler would not keep these on.
