OK but can still hear ambient noise when in noise reduction setting. Also, the silicone tips make by ears itchy and the don't sell a memory foam version compatible with the Switch
I wanted to use earplugs in the dental office to reduce the sound from the ultrasonic. The look is beautiful, but unfortunately they did not help to dampen the sound of the ultrasonic. I need to filter the ultrasonic sound and at the same time hear when the patient needs to say something to me during the treatment. it is not possible to remove the plugs from the ear during the treatment.
I love the design and the easy to use switch function and with my autism it works well although some upgrades could happen like on the switch the possibility add a new mode on it for extra quite mode and it could block out all sound which would help alot and both with swich 1 and 2 you can still here your self talk which i do find quite annoying its like playing karaoke with where you have your mic volume up to loud and not the song volume howeve other then that these are a perfect design and comfort ive never had been able to wear something in my ear for so long before and this is great ive had to ditch the old bulky over the head ear muffs that make me feel as if im different to something suttle and i love it
The redesigned eartips use a double outer wall construction, they fit better than previous versions and does indeed block out more noise when inserted correctly (right size and depth). I still find them very expensive, for 15 euros it's almost 3. 75 euros per pair. A more reasonable amount would be 2 euros per pair. This would still make them more expensive than generic silicone ear tips on amazon but that can be justified by the great design. Also: The stem is slightly smaller than the first Loop Switch ones BUT they still fit the original Switch just fine. I tried it out and have no complaints. It's less than a millimeter difference.
Love how these fit!! I have teeny tiny ears and the XS actually fit. Twist in perfect. First ear plugs that work for me, stay in, don't feel like they're constantly wanting to escape. Please give me earbuds that fit like Loops, I'll be eternally grateful.
